This week’s episode covers a topic that hits home for me.
Recently I have had two cousins pass away in tragic deaths, five days apart: one in an unexpected car accident and the other in his sleep.
Both were relatively young (<40 years old) and both were deeply loved.
Their deaths came as a shock to us all and have shaken some of us in unforeseen ways.
These events have allowed me to appreciate the silence and stillness that death bestows upon us.
Their impacts have shaped how I have decided to live my life moving forward, what it means to be alive, and what life even means in the wake of death.
So I decided to have one of my best friends, Dalton, on the show to discuss the meaning of life and death through a sober perspective.
This episode is an homage to my family both in this life and the next.
I hope it will provide some value for those struggling to find answers and peace for those suffering from the pain of loss.
