General
- Please see Mrs. Martin to sign up for the November 18th-22nd range group. You can pick up an application in room 814.
- Any sophomores who have shown interest in applying to the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Conference. You must have your application and essay turned into Mr. Schenko by November 1st.
- Juniors and Seniors, if you would like to take the ASVAB on November 19th, you need to sign up in the school counseling office. See Mrs. Carlson if you have any questions.

Clubs
- Key Club will meet Monday, October 28th, after school in the library. All members should plan to attend to participate in TWO service projects. Dues of $15 should be paid by this date.
- Calliope will be having a bake sale at tomorrow's Homecoming game. Please stop by the table, grab something sweet, and support your local literary magazine!
- Share your talent at Bean Tree Cafe on Friday November 1st! Calliope is hosting its 1st Open Mic Night. Bring an original poem, song, or short story to perform for the group. Forensic members are also invited to practice your performance pieces. Bean Tree will be donating 10% of the sales to Calliope. We look forward to seeing you there,
Athletics
- There will be a Girls Soccer Interest Meeting next Friday morning (November 1) at 7:40 in the ninth grade health room (801). All girls interested in playing soccer this year should attend.
- A final congratulations to the brookville Marching Band for their performance last week at the Drums Ac cross the Blue Ridge finals. The band came from behind after finishing 9th in prelims to come in 2nd place in finals competition out of 12 bands. The band also won visual and Colorguard in their class and 2nd in percussion. Want to join this award winning group? then consider joining winter colorguard! This awards winning winter group will be auditioning Monday Wednesday and Friday from 3:30-5:30. Come join the talented young men and women who helped the marching band perform with superior skill this fall! We can't wait to meet you monday.
