Athletics
- Baseball weight lifting will be at 4:30 today for varsity players only. It will be right after school tomorrow for anybody interested in playing. You must have a physical to lift.
Clubs
- The first meeting of the Debate Team is Tuesday, September 3rd from 3-4pm in Mr. Markey's room 316. We had a student win the State Championship last year and would like to get more, so come out on Tuesday to get more information!
- The first meeting of our trivia team here at BHS called the ACE team will be on Wednesday, September 4th from 3-4pm in Mr. Markey's room 316. Come join to have a chance to win a state championship for knowing random facts!
- The first meeting of our speech performance team, the Forensics team, will be held this Thursday from 3-4pm in Mr. Markey's room 316. If you like theater, writing poetry, making up random characters, or winning competitions for talking too much, come see what Forensics is all about on Thursday!
- Key Club will have its first regular meeting of the year on Monday, September 9th, after school in the LIBRARY. All students are welcome to attend! Dues of $15 may be paid at this meeting for anyone wishing to join.
- Are you a writer, photographer, or artist? Do you have an eye for graphic design? If so, then Calliope literary magazine needs you to join our club. Come to our first meeting of the year on Thursday, September 12 at 3:00 in Room 118. We will find a place for you on the literary magazine staff or as a contributor. We look forward to seeing you there.
Seniors
- Seniors! Don't forget to stop by room 112 and talk to Mrs. Brumfield about your senior ad in the yearbook today!
- Photographers will be at BHS on September 11 for formal senior pictures. Please come to the front office to sign up for a time to get your picture taken during an elective period.
