Without visual game artists, a game would be nothing more than ideas in a designer’s head.
Game art design comes in the pre-production phase of the development of a video game (2D or 3D) where the game art designer brings the game’s characters, stories, and worlds to life. This can also include anything from clothes, character models and surface textures to visual effects or storyboards.
