Last week we talked about having a plan and starting a plan. Everyone has to start somewhere. In order to be a teacher you have to have a teaching opportunity. You need to allocate time to develop and follow though with your goals. This week I want to give you some of the equipment.
I want to start with an illustration. I suffer with some of this myself. Have you ever felt like when you’re in your devotion time that you’re in a boxing match. As you’re praying, you’re anxious about all the things you need to do. It’s like a constant battle with God where the battle is in your own brain. “And by the time I’m done, I don’t even know what I prayed as I’m constantly in my own way.” The punches hurt. I’m allowing my brain and schedule to drive my spiritual life.
I want to meet everyone at the practical ground zero. I want you to have victory. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, I think today is going to be helpful for you! I call this Spiritual ADD.
