We live in a world of specialists! Everyone wants to go to a specialist! Or everyone is a specialist. Nearly everyone has a degree in one area or another. You go to certain specialists for certain situations. Certain places specialize in particular types of care. You can go to places that have advanced degrees in one specific field.
But where do you go when you need a spiritual specialist? What specialist do you go to when the issues you struggle with are issues of the heart, or the more intangible issues of life? Where do you go when your life seems to fall apart?
When you need a specialist in a very specific issue in your life and you’re not sure how to find one, you can go to God. God specializes in human care. Since every specialist needs a certificate or credentials, God gave us His, it’s called the Bible. And throughout this book we observe the truth that God specializes in the human issues of life. Sometimes, we forget that. We forget that God specializes in helping us through every single issue we experience in life. So this morning we’re going to look at a passage that lays out for us the credentials our God has to specialize in whatever you or I are going through today, or will ever go through. Because God specializes in human care, we can run to him with our deepest needs
