Why does following God seem to make life harder instead of easier? Many believers wrestle with this paradox, expecting faith to shield them from difficulty, yet finding themselves facing even greater challenges. The truth is that God never promised us a conflict-free existence; rather, He equipped us to navigate life's inevitable struggles with divine wisdom and strength.
Through Genesis 26, we see the contrasting modes of handling these struggles: fleeing from adversity in paralyzing fear or standing firm in unwavering faith. These biblical examples reveal a profound spiritual principle: our response to conflict determines whether we experience God's abundant blessings or carry unnecessary burdens. When we respond in Christ's power, the struggles don't disappear, but they become the very crucible through which God refines and transforms us.
