Barbin’ Around has a special guest today! From Switzerland, the group name is Elvet! I had a chance to talk to one of the members, Lyn. Lyn and Alain met in 2003, the duo collaborates with many artists, and in 2015, they created Elvet, a new project cradled in carnal electro and acoustic instruments. Simple and intense, this new baby aims to marry analog synthesizers and organic rhythms. Their first EP, “Who Shot First?” released in November 2015, enabled them to win a Swiss Live Talent Award and to be broadcast on Swiss (Couleur 3, La Première, DRS Virus, etc.) and French radio stations with a notable appearance on France Inter in March 2016 on the show by André Manoukian who describes Elvet as "the most trippy group of the moment."
