Brian grew up in Bishop’s Falls, NL, and got his early interest in music as a child listening to a neighbourhood band as they practiced for gigs. He absolutely loved the sound of the electric guitars and bass - sounds that stuck with him all through the years. He credits those musicians for inspiring his lifelong love of music and thanks many other musicians with whom he has had the pleasure of playing music and learning from. With a professional career outside of music, Brian pursued his passion of playing and writing songs with family and friends throughout the years. As the lyrics of his first single, You Make Me Smile suggest, moving to a new stage of life has brought Brian an opportunity to fulfill his musical dreams of writing, singing and playing original music.
