Mornings are REALLY hard for me..Like a toddler waking up from their nap hard. I have been wanting to build myself a morning routine for a while due to the fact they make my days much easier and smoother. I have found my body and brain do not connect and trigger the function: WAKE UP. I roll over, smash the snooze about 4 times and then turn off the alarm all together. SUCH A BAD HABIT.
My pup Lucious deserves to have a mom that is awake and attentive to him and helps him start his day as well. I'm trying to get better with training as well so this would also fall into OUR morning routine. Getting him into a routine will help me deal with him and his random outbursts of energy, especially if I can get him on a early morning walk or run?? OH PERF *chefs kiss*
I also threw in some tips and tricks that seem to have been helping me when I do actually wake up early and ready to challenge the day ahead.
