"My name is Benjamin Pelton and I am a personal development & human performance coach. I have been in athletics for over 25 years and started my coaching business 10 years ago with the goal of transforming people’s minds and bodies. I’ve always had a deep curiosity for mechanics and physics, not just of the body, which led to my academic studies in Philosophy and Mechanical Engineering.
Thru years of searching for the most innovative solutions to serve my clients, I have been introduced to multiple elite accreditations and mentors. Some of these mentors include Wim Hof from the Wim Hof Method, Scott Sonnon, the creator of TACFIT program and Coach Gil from GOATA, among many more.
In 2016 I was a part of the first class of Wim Hof Method instructors to be certified by Wim to teach his method in the USA. Becoming a WHM instructor has been a fun and life changing experience. Scott Sonnon, the creator of TACFIT program, has been crucial for my understanding of the energy systems in our body. Going through the TACFIT 26 Field instructor test remains as one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever completed. Most recently in 2021 Coach Gil from GOATA has been transformative in the way I understand the gait pattern for forward locomotion.
Combining the knowledge I’ve gathered and experience of implementation, my latest materialization of information and services is the Pelton Plan. Everyone needs a plan for managing their Mindset, Motion, Stress, and Sustenance. Pelton Plan makes your life simply extraordinary."

"Currently I work as a chiropractor in Banff Alberta, however my passion is human movement/biomechanics. I put theory into TEST to find out what works and what doesn’t. The Bruce Lee quote “take whats useful and disregard the rest” is how I find movement truth. The ultimate truth is in the movement not the theory, it has to work in reality.
Now Running/Gait mechanics and martial arts (especially boxing) is how I test truth in movement; theory is always put to the test!
From my teenage years into my late 20s, I spent significant time within mainstream fitness practices such as Crossfit, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, gymnastics, and bodybuilding, not in that particular order.
I have also spent time playing soccer, boxing, skiing amongst other sports. Having stacked many injuries in my teens/20s from improper training, I was led on a journey into chiropractic and sports injuries. I have worked with 1000s of injured patients in 8 years of chiropractic practice and have seen many injuries in the gym as a former Crossfit coach for 5 years.
I've now spent 1000's of hours learning and practicing systems such as Functional Range Conditioning, Weckmethod and Goata. Goata has my interest at the moment, as I see it as a platform for a new Paradigm in movement. I believe we (Experts) are using incorrect maps of movement, therefore injuries are prevalent in sport and life. I will always test and retest in my own theories in real movement.
