On this episode we discuss some of our favorite books. For Jenny, it’s Rain of Gold by Victor Villasenor and for KC, it’s The Financier by Theodore Dreiser. We also touch on the subject of what the cities of Southeast LA used to look like based on factual evidence that Jenny mysteriously discovered. Quick correction: Grapes of Wrath is about the Great Depression not the Gold Rush. Also, sincere apologies, I think my phone mic got messed up since I dipped it in the clear Ligurian waters.
