Erik Raschke puts parenting first and foremost. He is the father of 3 children and the oldest has severe autism. Two years ago he moved from Amsterdam to New Jersey so his 12 year old autistic son could receive a better education. If they stayed in the Netherlands, his future was a group home, but in NJ he has a shot at independence. Today, his son is learning and getting an education and it is truly amazing. Erik wrote a book, To The Mountain, inspired by his own experiences as a father of a boy with autism. Erik wanted his son to begin answering autism related questions because language is a huge challenge for him. His son was up for the task and joined us for the conversation!
