Water is important to God. Throughout the Bible, the miracles of God are often associated with water. Miracles such as divine healing, revelation, transformation, walking, authority, and provision—just to name a few—teach us God’s sovereignty and how He uses water to demonstrate it.
It is important to note these miracles of God so that we can better understand His nature, the purposes of Jesus’ immersion (or baptism), and how physical elements connect us to the spiritual realm.
