In this session, Elliot discusses God’s heart for creatives right now! You love screen acting?
The Kingdom of God is calling actors to rise and tell stories that are going to inspire, encourage and connect to audiences, in both mainstream and faith contexts.
Elliot teaches more than 350 young people a week, skills for filmmaking and screen acting. His experience in songwriting and filmmaking go back as far as his early teenage years and now he has a passion to support emerging actors to grow in their skill, flourish in their talent and shine in their confidence.
On October 29th, Elliot is running an afternoon workshop on screen acting covering the major essentials in preparing to succeed as a screen actor and someone who walks intimately with God. He is an educator, coach and creative himself and believes our life of worship is directly linked to God’s signature of creativity in our lives. Early bird prices finish on September 29th.
This will be followed by a night of worship and hearing from the Lord yourself as a creative, to allow the Holy Spirit to refine your focus and passion for the arts industry.
If you are interested or passionate about acting, and have a sense that you’d like to do this, but maybe you have concerns or ideas that are holding you back, come along to the workshop as Elliot addresses the subject of film and television from a context of the Kingdom of God. Creativity is not an added bonus of being human, it’s a necessity of being created in God’s image, as He Himself was first revealed as The Creator.
