The Two Pizza Rule
Jeff Bezos famously made the Two Pizza Rule, which states that if you can’t feed your team with just two large pizzas in a meeting, the team is too big to work efficiently.
Why?
👉 the points of communication rise exponentially as the team size does, thus slowing communication and decision making
👉 people come in each other’s way
👉 overstuffed teams tend to have a lot of people piggybacking; insincerity in taking accountability for work
