After a startup raises at least two rounds and has multiple types of securities, all converting with different conditions, and with an established ESOP scheme, the cap tables can get really messy. Moreover, managing cap tables on Excel in this day and age seems sub-optimal.
To find a solution to this problem, I recently found a demo'ed this product called Qapmap by Qapita.
I think it's a gorgeous product to not just understand your fully diluted cap table, but also do a sensitivity analysis on what would be the dilution at what level of valuation, and how a founder can optimize the next fundraise to avoid inefficient dilution scenarios.
This is not a paid promotion in any way. I think this tool can be of immense use to startup founders. It's free for use till you have up to 25 persons on the cap table.
