Competition Slide in your Pitch Deck
- Build a table with each column dedicated to a company
- Keep the first column to yourself and go rightwards in decreasing priority order
- The rows define the benefits you deliver and not the features
- Start with your biggest value proposition as the top row and go down in preferential order
- Fill in the grid with quantitative data and not qualitative description
- For example, if your delivery time is the fastest, quantify how fast and show that others are slower through actual data of average time
- Leave the field blank if the benefit doesn’t apply to a competitor instead of mentioning N.A. or 0 or X
- Consider benefits under heads of product, distribution strategy, pricing, stickiness, usage frequency
