What fires are you feeding in your life?
Are they burning you, and others, or keeping you warm and cozy?
Let's talk about how our thoughts are like logs we add to a fire, when it comes to situations in our lives... be it our relationships with our kids, parents, siblings, in-laws, co-workers, living situation, etc.
The fires we feed have an effect not just us personally, but also on other people's lives. The lives of the people we love. We're building those fires with our thoughts, our actions, and with the conversations we have with others we interact with.
Our thoughts and feelings are powerful, and can effect the results we produce in our lives. The more mindful we are about our thoughts, the more pleasant our feelings will be, and therefore the better actions we'll take, producing the best results for ourselves and those around us.
It's that simple! Not as easy to do as it sounds, but it truly is that simple, as long as we set our mind to it and make it a priority.
