Excuses we use/I’ve used to not do what we want to do.
Very often when we “have” to do something… like go do a
job we don’t like, we do it.
But then when we want to do something we let
circumstances get the best of us!
Here are a few:
Not enough time… this is my excuse when it comes to
reading “I read too slow” I tell myself… my solution, Audible!!
What’s your excuse, and what’s the solution?
Not enough money… one solution could be DIY it, budget
it, make extra money!! Now-a-days it’s so easy to make extra money any time we
want!!
Being “too tired”… why are we tired? Not enough sleep?
Find the source and work on it.
It’s “their fault”… this is a useless excuse, and it’s
not true! The state of life and our affairs is always our own doing.
It’s “not my” fault… we use this a lot when we argue with
someone, WE are always right and they are always wrong.
It’s too hot, too cold, that’s why I don’t go for a walk.
It’s too wet, too dry, that’s why my garden is a
mess.
No!! None of this
is true… but we make our truth because
that’s the story we’re telling ourselves, so let’s change the story and let’s
get things done regardless of circumstances!!
Here’s proof we can do hard things fast, that a lot of us
can relate to:
Someone says they’re coming over in 30 minutes… come
on!!
What else??
