This May, Kyle takes control of all the programming designs on Catching Up On Cinema, for a special event that we're calling, “Kyle's Kitchen Sink”!

All month long, Kyle follows his nose, allowing his impulsivity and gut instinct to drive his movie selection process from week to week.

This week, Kyle has us review David Bruckner's, The Night House (2020)!

Subtle and intimate, The Night House (2020) is an emotionally intense supernatural horror film benefits greatly from an incredible lead performance from Rebecca Hall.

Subdued and unafraid to utilize long stretches of silence or truly uncomfortable sequences of heavy drama to engage its viewers, The Night House is a confident little horror film may not play especially well to mainstream audiences, but is guaranteed to satisfy those that might seek it out.
