How can we participate in God's plan, and how do we grow as Believers? In this passage, Peter compares believers to children in a family, stones in a building, and priests in a nation. Through his metaphors pulled from older Scripture, Peter expresses the pure milk we need in order to grow, and the Cornerstone in our faith. In this sermon, Pastor Christopher talks about God-honoring work and how we are "living sacrifices" for the Lord. He also breaks down Peter's metaphors and how following God's commandments makes us distinct in a fallen world. Where does our honor come from? How do we find our place in God's plans? Where does he place those who reject or accept the Cornerstone?
