Pilot knew that Jesus was an innocent man and tried five times to prove His innocence. Why did Pilot try to let Jesus go? The Jewish leaders had been trying to catch Jesus doing things against the law, and they had been careful up until the Trial, but that is when their caution ended. How did they react to Pilot?
