Benefits of NBS go beyond solving the socio-economic problem at hand. There are often many indirect benefits or co-benefits, which are important to consider when talking about NBS. It is these co-benefits that have the potential to make NBS more attractive than traditional grey solutions. In this episode, Pilar and Francesco talk about some of the research that they are currently working on with NBS co-benefits. As they talk about their experience with NBS co-benefits, they also discuss the important question of how to assess the effectiveness of NBS, and they also talk about some of their findings.
