The Kaunertal valley is located in western Austria, and due to glacier retreat, there is the potential for natural hazards such as rockfalls and landslides. In this podcast, experts from the University of Vienna talk about an innovative NBS in the form of a re-vegetation concept that uses bacteria to enhance plant traits that most strongly contribute to slope stability.
