#025: Flourishing & Learning on a Small Homestead
A lot of growth can happen in 6 years! It also doesn't take much time to fall in love with the homesteading lifestyle. Anna & Caroline Jackson (mom & daughter) began small-steading with a simple love for animals, the young desire for a horse and opportunity for learning. It's now turned into goats, chickens, dogs, cats and rabbits.... along with gardening and raising animals.
We had lot of laughs, tips around goats (and their subsequent low will to live)..... but also got a little serious about the goals of homesteading, the gifts it brings to family and how jumping in ASAP is the the best advice.
Caroline leaves for vet school soon, so we chatted about the homestead's influence on her and her personal dreams for homesteading.
