#007: The Good, Bad & Ugly Truth on Fats
First off, listening to this might be challenging if you're just beginning to question what's on store shelves. What we've seen and heard our whole lives about healthy vs. unhealthy fats is essentially turned upside down in this episode. We've replaced real, easily absorbable, nutritious and beneficial fats for processed, Frankenstein spreads and oils. This has not only left our bodies lacking in key vitamins and fats, but it's set society up (children included) for weakened support in bone, dental, reproductive, immune, cellular and cognitive function. Real FOOD is powerful!
But, have no fear, we have greater access than ever to a variety of healthy fats and loads of education. It's okay to say BYE to free-radicals, trans-fat and their damaging effects on our bodies. As always, source and processing matters. Begin trading out one at a time and see the difference in your brain, skin, hormones and who knows what else!
