#008: The Fun of Fermentation

When it comes to real food, fermented foods are #2 on my list of fav things to talk about. Fermentation has been used for millennia to preserve, more readily prepare for digestion and flavor all kinds of foods. Not only are they fun to make but love on our guts; we digest, absorb nutrients, battle harmful microbes and eliminate more toxins because of these good guys. A MEGA HUGE benefit is it supports the brain <--> gut connection. Did you know up to 95% of serotonin in your body is produced in your gut!? "Happy belly, happy life" is TRUE!
