Join Kirk and I as he checks in from the road to discuss the bands latest album. How the album opener was originally written for Body Count, and if Kirk has written much for other bands in his career.
We also touch on the drug epidemic hitting the country by storm, how this informed the lyrics to one of the new songs on the album, and how things have changed from Kirk and I growing up where you maybe drank and smoked some weed. How it is for him having a college aged kid who's being affected by this.
Kirk also reflects back on a 30 year career, how it was having a kid during most of that, and how separating from his ex wife allowed him to know how to navigate being a touring musician with his now wife.
