I feel like we hear people say this a lot, "Education is about the people, from students, to their families, to our staff" however, too often, for a lot of people, the logistics, operations, accountability, etc. seem to get in the way and suddenly people, our students, their families, our staff are at the bottom of the totem pole.
However, this is NOT the case of veteran educator Emily Castillo-Leon who takes to care of the people who are in her presence and her commitment to making a better life for all who she encounters.
Emily was a teacher, teacher coach, founding assistant principal, founding principal and currently serves as the Excecutive Director of Ethos Classical School, which Emily founded and where its doors opened in 2019.
