• Proverbs to Ecclesiastes
• The 2nd naiveté
• We start out thinking things are very black and white. (Some don't move past that)
• We learn over time that things are complex and and nuanced.
• We realize that we don't need answers to everything and just rely on God in a new childlike way
• We can't think faith is a destination. That causes pride and self righteousness.
• It is a journey of deepening life with God.
• That means everything that happens has a purpose. Every event and circumstance is giving us a deeper understanding of who God is and who we are.
• this is really about Grace vs. Religion
