Seventh Step Prayer
My Creator,
l am now willing that You should have all of me, good and bad.
I pray that You now remove from me
every single defect of character which stands in the way of my usefulness to You and my fellows.
Grant me strength, as I go out from here, to do Your bidding. Amen
Seventh Step Prayer Reflection:
Are you becoming more willing that Your Loving Higher Power / God should have all of You, both the seemingly good and the seemingly bad?
Are you asking for the grace to ACCEPT & LOVE all of yourself both the seemingly good and the seemingly bad ?
Do you believe that Your Loving Higher Power / God loves you unconditionally and cares for you deeply ?
Do you believe that Your Loving Higher Power / God wants the absolute best for you and a life beyond your wildest dreams ?
Are you experiencing Your Loving Higher Power / God as a best friend and loving parent to you?
Is the relationship with Your Loving Higher Power / God experiential ?
Are you building a habit of dialogue with Your loving Higher Power / God ?
How often are you asking Your Loving Higher Power / God for Help with everything (little things, big things and those in the middle) ?
Is Your Loving Higher Power / God your Co-creator and partner ?
Are You asking Your Loving Higher Power / God in prayer that the HP remove from you every single defect of character which stands in the way of your usefulness to the HP, yourself and your fellows ?
Are you asking Your Loving Higher Power / God to grant you strength, to do the HP’s bidding and will?
Is your understanding of Your Loving Higher Power / God’s bidding and will for your life synonymous with desiring your own happiness and what’s truly good for You ?
