Grace Anello is a meteorologist with a passion for precision and connection. As the Morning Meteorologist at WAAY 31 News, Grace’s day starts before the sun rises, crafting forecasts and delivering them with the energy and expertise her audience relies on. With her alarm set for 2 a.m., Grace’s workday is a whirlwind of live broadcasts, forecasting, and producing segments that connect her community to the weather and beyond.
Her role goes far beyond the green screen. Grace produces and scripts two weekly segments, hosts a weather-themed game show, and serves as the official meteorologist for the Rocket City Trash Pandas. She also dedicates time to engaging with her community as a guest lecturer, emcee, and volunteer. Balancing a demanding career with her strong faith and close-knit family, Grace embodies resilience and heart in everything she does.
A proud graduate of Mississippi State University, where she was crowned Miss Maroon & White, Grace has been recognized for her accomplishments with accolades such as WAAY 31 Employee of the Year (2023) and numerous speaking and leadership roles. She’s a skydiving, zip-lining, and rappelling adventurer with a love for slow weekend mornings, good coffee, and old Italian music.
