''So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away (Matthew 25:28-29).''
As human beings, we have a major sin problem. It gives us false hope. We think that what we have will make us happy. But in the end, we will have nothing. Even what we think we have will be taken away from us.
We often think that we have God's favor when things are going well for us. However, it's those times when things are going well for us that we need to be worried about ourselves. When we trust in ourselves, what we have will be taken away. When we trust in what Jesus gives us, we will have more given to us. Because what we have in this life is much less than what we will have in Heaven. Amen.
