In a world full of temptation, Jesus shows us the way to true freedom.
This week at Ethos, we dove into Luke 4 and explored how Jesus succeeded where Israel failed, breaking the pattern of sin and setting us free. We learned that:
• We are no longer subject to sin - Christ's sacrifice gives us renewed humanity NOW, not just in eternity
• We can overcome temptation through the power of the Holy Spirit
• God's redemptive story is still unfolding, and we get to be part of it!
As followers of Jesus, we are called to be 'heaven and earth people,' bringing God's kingdom to life in our everyday world.
