This is me Jon Paul Kersey, you can find me on multiple social media platforms and you can listen to some of my hip hop music on music streaming platforms or you can even catch my once a week podcast on Spotify called Photonics Photo talking about photography stuff and current technology. I have three instagrams with different niches of photography where I demonstrate what I have learned along the way and captured the many moments of time that was perfectly sealed in a digital realm forever and a day. I like product photography and I demonstrate and practice on @jonjonthecameraman on instagram or @photonicsphoto on another instagram practicing portraiture and multiple different lighting techniques. I have many breath taking nature shots @jonpaulkersey on my first instagram account. I even like to make the odd YouTube videos from time to time @Jon Paul Kersey. I just love to express myself one way or the other. Not really a creative but rather someone that likes to fulfil the void of internet space in hopes that I can help or benefit someone along there journey on this strange place we call Earth. This is how technology has aided my Human Expierance and the same platforms that I exist on digitally. Technology has aided my creative outlook on life and has helped me learn a plethora of new skills. My Human Expierance has upgraded in major ways from just a decade ago to the point that have even felt liberated.
I was born and raised in London Ontario and I have never even left this province before either. I have travelled all around` this beautiful province of Ontario and nothing quite compared to this beautiful city that I love so very much. I’m only 6th generation Canadian/American but my blood does run deep. Even with DNA testing I have found that I’m more Canadian then not. From having some African American in me from the slavery times that existed in the U.S.A to escape salvation in the Underground Railroad. To the Blackfoot tribe that used to exist around the region and then also finding out that majority of my D.N.A is actually of Nordic descendant. Technology has aided my Human Expierance from as simple as getting my DNA testing done to see what my predispositions are and how to aid my eating habits. Technological advancements like insulin and medication to help me sleep.
I believe that technology has made life a lot better in every way. From major medical advancements in our health care globally. Or as simple as getting from point (A) to point (B). Even the minimalistic approach on how little technology you actually need to be creative and learn is mind blowing on it’s own. I still feel that technology can get carried away from existing in a different dimension within itself. I feel that technology should and can aid the human experience and can be very helpful on the creative perspective but to get carried away from the realistic approach of putting a perspective in an art form rather then just creating a massive video game and not really having anything to do with the reality in which we exist in todays world. I don’t want future Human to be so afraid of the true existence that there minds get lost within itself. A dream is great because we only dream for like 6-10 hours a day but a 24/7 dream like reality seems a little far fetched from what should be rather what could be. I believe technology can help in school circumstances and help aid the process of learning and persevering this world we call Earth. I do have my fingers crossed that technology doesn’t rip away this beautiful reality and just give us a dream like life that doesn’t aid the Human Experience within itself.
I am me and you were you and lets not let are individuality be taken from this Human Experience we call The spiritual journey, from technological advancements that simple just ends up possessing The Human Experience.
