This is the beginning of the New Year we have been waiting for, certainly, one of them as Mars will station direct at 3:56 PM (EST) in Gemini at 8 degrees thus ending its 74 days of retrograde. In this episode I begin with what Mars finally making movement forward will look like and when you may start feeling and seeing momentum with the direct motion of Mars in Gemini.
I also talk about Mercury being retrograde in Capricorn which began on December 29th of last year and how that is impacting what you may be working on for the New Year and this new month. Mercury rules the sign of Gemini and so its initial retrograde phase may have been intense for you with Mars being retrograde in Gemini. Mercury will go direct on January 18th. This is the same day that we have the Sun and Pluto conjunction taking place shortly after Mercury goes direct. This could be a day (Jan. 18th) where you find out information that was hidden from you previously.
I discuss what I feel is the kickoff to this New Year on the weekend of Jan. 20th through the 22nd when we will have the Sun move into the sign of Aquarius on January 20th followed by the New Moon in Aquarius on January 21st followed by the Lunar New Year on January 22nd which begins the Year of the Rabbit. I will have more information on the Lunar New Year in the next episode of this podcast. We also have Venus making a conjunction with Saturn on the 22nd and I discuss what that may look like for those who may be seeking like-minded people to help with any of 2023's goals. Uranus goes direct in Taurus on Jan. 22nd as well and once it does, we will begin a period where all the planets will be in forward motion to support us in our endeavors.
I take time in this episode to discuss Jupiter in Aries as he is moving through Aries until May 16th. Jupiter is currently at 2 degrees, so he is very much at the beginning of his final journey through Aries for the next 12 years. This is a good time to use this Jupiter energy to help push to get something done if not everything that might be on your list. As a Cardinal sign, Aries is the sign of beginnings and Jupiter wants to help us grow and evolve in our best version of ourselves. So, use this energy to help keep you positive if you need that or to help jumpstart something that will continue to gain momentum as we progress further into the month and in the year.
