The Talk of Fame Podcast got interview Sue Humphrey who is a 3-time Olympic coach who have coached athletes ages 7 to adult in a wide variety of settings, from elementary schools to the world’s largest stage for sporting events. She’s worked with some of the biggest names in track and field events, including Wilt Chamberlain, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, and Florence Griffith Joyner, and she coached 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist Charles Austin in the men’s high jump. In 2004, she served as the head coach for the U.S. Olympics Women’s Track and Field Team. She discusses how Title IX changed the way women are portrayed in sports, struggles in Track & Field, working with sports legends such as Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Wilt Chamberlain, and Florence Griffith Joyner, and much more.
