Pamela Henkel and Yashica Mack first became acquainted while participating in Les Brown’s Power Voice System training program and Jon Talarico’s, Thinking Into Results coaching program. During an interview, Pamela revealed to Yashica that she had a vision of a book that would change the world. Pamela stated that this book was placed in her heart, but she had not yet acted upon it. Yashica was intrigued and inspired by Pamela’s vision, and so it began; these two visionary authors were called to collaborate and create an anthology that would ultimately bring together more than 35 women to share their stories and offer hope.
This week we welcome collaborating author Sandra Chaney:
Sandra Chaney is a 7x best-selling author, certified empowerment coach, certified Les Brown Motivational Speaker, nonprofit consultant, wife, and mother. She released a motivational t-shirt line at the end of 2020, launched The Profit in Nonprofit Podcast in January 2021, is a featured author in a calendar for Christian Authors on Tour, released the third edition of her second book, The Woman Within, It’s An Inside Job, and is working on her fourth book. Sandra’s other books include Give It To Her, A gift of Healing and Restoration, and The Inside Secrets To Getting Money for Your Nonprofit. Additionally, she is a co-author of seven other books. She has also stepped up her focus on herself by adding workout challenges to her fitness regime and discovering her high love for creating healthy meals in the kitchen with her husband.
Sandra received the Brave, Bold and Beautiful award for women leaders who are not built to break; the Humanitarian Award from Trinity International University of Ambassadors for being an Extraordinary Leader; and the Fruit of Her Hand award from The Black Church and Domestic Violence Institute for women who have risen above their circumstances to make a difference in their community.
As a conqueror and thriver of domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, and an abusive marriage, she uses her life experiences and lessons to create sacred spaces and moments where women feel safe, loved, and comfortable fully expressing their truth to be completely set free from their hidden secrets and life challenges.
The wind beneath her wings is from the loving and faithful support of her husband and the pulse of her heart, her son. Sandra lives her life by this motto: “Everything I do, say, and offer the world will come from a deep place of love!”
