Description

This week we are talking about binge eating and how to feel relaxed around food with Isabel Foxen Duke.

Isabel has been influential in both of our journeys to recovery from dieting and also our progression into becoming anti-diet coaches and developing our understanding of binge eating. She has an incredible amount of knowledge about food and how restriction of food ultimately affects our ability to trust ourselves with what we need and want.  In this episode, she shares her knowledge and over a decade of experience with us on how to truly understand why we feel so out of control around food.

Isabel Foxen Duke is the creator of Stop Fighting Food, a Video Training Series & Master Class for women who want to "stop feeling crazy around food." After years of trying to overcome binge eating disorder through weight-normative approaches, Isabel discovered the critical role of acceptance, surrender and social inquiry in the binge eating recovery process—and has been sharing her insights with clients and professionals ever since. A thought leader in the Intuitive Eating and Body Positive movements, Isabel has been featured in publications like Elle Magazine and Refinery 29, and has been widely praised by influencers like Ricki Lake and Lena Dunham. Isabel lives in San Francisco where she runs virtual group coaching programs for clients and professionals around the world. Her writing and free guide, How To Not Eat Cake, can be found at isabelfoxenduke.com and you can watch her free video training series at stopfightingfood.com.
