Description

We all have a story and I love how her story of what inspired her to pursue counseling. Remember, everyone has a story of lived experiences and there is power in sharing them as well as holding space for stories that don't resonate or might make us uncomfortable. If you find yourself feeling uncomfortable about a story you hear on this podcast, I would encourage you to sit with it and reflect. What can you learn from the story? What makes you uncomfortable? Is there a thought or belief that you want to re-think? The inspiration of my podcast IS about each person's story. Let's hold space and give respect to each person's lived experience. To do so requires us to NOT look at their story through our own lenses of life.

Jacqui is a gift I was given in 2022 in the form of a human. She is wonderful! She is a great counselor, friend, and mentor. She is authentic, caring, and honest. I am beyond comfortable referring to her and trusting that clients will be in good hands. Jacqui has now opened her own private practice. We recorded this October of 2022 and I'm so happy to introduce her to you all.

Jacqui attended The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology graduating in the Summer of 2017 as a relationally focused psychodynamic psychotherapist. This style of therapy focuses on depth as we explore various themes in your life and the intersections in which the past influences the present. Services Include: Complex PTSD, Religious Abuse/Harm, Religious Deconstruction, Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Attachment related issues, and Life Transitions. She is located in Spokane, WA.
