Queen of Sorcery, Chapter 28

Sondra’s feeling a cold snap on all levels and trying to drop down through her frozen, choppy ocean to the deep peace of what lies beneath, and also enjoying oxycodone reminiscences; Alysia’s feeling at home inside herself with the peace of not being controlled by others’ opinions after a blissful group meditation experience—she’s quiet, but not passive; and they’re both speaking spells to stop their cycles of spinning.

Garion is enjoying the exquisite beauty of his drug-addled observations, and can’t remember why being naked in front of a group of women should bother him, even though they’re putting their hands all over him. The dry voice is back and clearer than ever.
