Day 21 of the podcast, reading Exodus 8-10 NET, read along at:

https://netbible.org/bible/Exodus+8-10/

This is day 21 of our journey.

The reading today unfolds over many days as Moses & Aaron repeatedly stand before Pharaoh, pleading with him to allow Israel to go worship God and warning him of the coming trouble if he refuses.  Each time Pharaoh refuses...God steps in with another plague: frogs, gnats, flies, death of livestock, boils, hail, locusts, and darkness.  Undeterred by the power of God's mighty hand, Pharaoh foolishly throws Moses & Aaron from his presence, telling them never to return.  This sets the stage for a final plague...a plague that would change the course of Egyptian history.

Join me in Exodus 8-10 to see God's power revealed to rescue his people.

Key verses:

Exodus 8:15

But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and did not listen to them, just as the Lord had predicted.

Exodus 9:16

But for this purpose I have caused you to stand: to show you my strength, and so that my name may be declared in all the earth.

Exodus 10:2

and in order that in the hearing of your son and your grandson you may tell how I made fools of the Egyptians and about my signs that I displayed among them, so that you may know that I am the Lord.”
