This is day 37 of our journey.
As we read more rules about ritual purity, it's important to remember being unclean was not necessarily the same thing as sin. While sin separates us from God and makes us spiritually unclean, these laws address situations that made the bodies of the Israelites physically unclean. Because of God's holy and perfect nature, a worshiper needed to be both physically and spiritually clean to be in the presence of God at his Tabernacle.
Join me in Leviticus 14-15 to learn more about physical purity and the ways in which God's people were kept healthy and His Tabernacle was kept sacred
Key verses:
Leviticus 14:2
“This is the law of the diseased person on the day of his purification, when he is brought to the priest.
Leviticus 15:31
“‘Thus you are to set the Israelites apart from their impurity so that they do not die in their impurity by defiling my tabernacle which is in their midst.
