This is day 94 of our journey.

We have reached the climax of the saga between Saul and David. David finally leaves Israel and settles in the land of the Philistines, outside of Saul's reach. While there he and his men raid the surrounding nations while claiming to attack Israel, thus gaining the trust of the local king. Meanwhile, the Philistines gather together to fight Saul. David is sent back from the battle lines to prevent him turning to the side of the Israelites. But Saul's time has come, the Philistines press hard and the archers strike a fatal blow. Saul and his 3 sons all die in battle on the same day.

Join me in 1 Samuel 27-31 to see God's final judgement on Saul.
