This is day 145 of our journey.
With the wall complete, the exiles come together to celebrate a festival before the Lord. They read the whole law in the presence of all the people and begin to implement the things that have been neglected. They praise the Lord for his faithfulness to his people, despite the many times that they have turned away from him. After the reading, they lay out a covenant and sign a document of committment to following the Law of the Lord fully.
