This is day 211 of our journey.
Isaiah speaks against those who would call themselves "religious" but lack a genuine relationship with God. They no longer listen to the word of the Lord, rather they hire teachers and prophets to say only what they want to hear. They delude themselves and march blindly toward their own destruction. Does that sound somewhat familiar? Far too often, this unfortunate practice still happens in our world today! We don't want to hear anything that makes us uncomfortable. But, it is only by hearing God's truth and responding to it that we can be saved. The Lord will send judgement, and afterward, redemption and healing.
Join me in Isaiah 28-30, listen to the Word of the Lord and receive deliverance!
