This is day 312 of our journey.

The good news of Jesus Christ continues to spread as God empowers Peter, John, and the other disciples to perform miracles in the name of Christ.  Many new believers are added to the growing group of Christian brothers and sisters.  But this rapid growth catches the attention of the religious leaders who arrest early church leaders and bring them in for questioning.  After questioning them, they tell the disciples to stop speaking in the name of Jesus.   The disciples respond by saying that they must obey God rather than men.  As the church continues to grow, the believers share everything as common property so that those amongst them that are poor can be cared for as Jesus intended.  Many believers sell property and donate the proceeds to the disciples to provide for those who are in need.

Join me in Acts 3-5 and let God's power guide you and work in you.
