Dhang Tecson is the co-founder of Fishers and Changemakers Inc., a pioneer social enterprise that partners with artisan fishing communities to manufacture and distribute high-quality & naturally-processed sustainable seafood products. She is also the country operations director of Plastic Bank Philippines, an organization that aims to promote organized and sustainable plastic collection and recycling.
She joins the show to talk about the concept of social enterprises, the scientific preparation needed behind the often hyped word that is sustainability, and how an immersion experience led her to pursue a life as a social worker.
