Description

A smile is universally recognised as a sign of happiness, but did you know that the act of smiling can actually improve your mood? When we force ourselves to smile, even if we don’t feel like it, our brain is tricked into thinking we’re happy. This in turn releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects. Smiling also encourages us to be more mindful of our surroundings and the people we interact with. By making a conscious effort to smile regularly, and noticing the change in our emotions, we can bring a little bit of joy into our everyday lives.
